Rear ABS Channel Motor Free Spins Code
#1
A few months ago I replaced a front hub because it was getting bad..I didnt have an ABS light or anything..now ive noticed my ABS light is on all the time. I plugged in my efi live cable and sometimes it says front left ABS channel motor free spins (the one i replaced, but both fronts have been replaced in a few months) and it gives me rear ABS channel motor free spins...
any ideas what it could be? both front hubs are new, everything is plugged in...how is there rear abs? no wires going to anything on the rear end..just sick of having the ABS light on..thanks

What are the code numbers that you are getting? They should start off with C0xxx. Based off the discription of the codes that were stored they have nothing to do with the wheel speed sensors, it sounds like it is related to the ABS module and solenoid valves.
The rear ABS speed signal comes from the vehicle speed sensor. The ABS these trucks have are 3 channel, it can control each front wheel individually to prevent lockup (2 channels). Whereas the rear is a single channel, only 1 brake line goes to the rear so they are controlled together.
