Well i checked my rpo codes, and got under the truck and spun the driveshaft and counted as the tire spun, it was just under 3 and a half revoltuions, so that would def be 3.42s. I do plan on a converter. I am considering the circle d billet 258mm 2800rpm, but i know a lot of trucks come with 4.10s as do all awd SSS'. I run the truck in "auto 4x4" so im not too very concerned about just blasting the tires off. I have a couple 149 transfer cases sitting so that will be the end result anyways.

actually, something that's bothering me even worse at the moment, I'm having a problem that I've seen other people have about the shifter not feeling right. It seemed like the shifter cable was too short, even after I bought the 4l80e shifter bracket. the shifter feels very sloppy, and you can't put it all the way and down to manual first. Anyone know what I did wrong?

Did you adjust your neutral safety switch properly?

probably not, I never saw anything on how to do that. Is there a write up somewhere that you know of?

Found some instructions Bear posted before to adjust it. Gonna do that tomorrow. Hopefully that will fix that issue.
