Default Quick question about 4l80

hey guys i tried search cant find info i need so i need u guys help
i have 99 savana with 7.4L and tranny gone but i cant afford a rebuild and i search for use tranny here in canada it hard i found 98, 97, 95 but no 99 + so my question is will 98, 97, 95 fit or i have to find 99+

I think a 97 or 98 will work but you will loose the bolt hole at the 12 o'clock position that is found in the 99 and later units. The two I mentioned will have the correct cooler line positions but will be missing the bolt hole I mentioned. HTH Vince

is that matter missing 1 bolt

I wouldnt loose any sleep over not having it. My PB 80e didnt have the top bolt hole.
