The updated factory 4l80e flexplate is a much nicer piece (and looks stronger) than the stock 4l60 flexplates. So I would use the spacer and updated 80e flexplate to adapt to your 5.3.

Okay, so what years vehicles can I find the flexplate? Or is it something I should order through Jegs or Summit?

Maybe if I can find a donor lq4 it will come with one. Time to scour craigslist some more!

No, since you have a 2000, you also have the 2 connector style NSS.

Your plugs will plug right in, however, for some reason the factory glued in those plugs. The majority of people end up breaking the plugs trying to get them out.

Maybe I can put some solvent on the plugs or something? Try to loosen them up.

so i just got a similar offer..

a '98 4l80e w 89k miles on it for $500


what company sells a full .. manual valve body..

its gonna be going in my 2004 lq4 turbo motor thats in my truck .. the motor harness is a standalone.. so id rather not add anymore electronics to my truck.
