Hmm, thats what I was thinking too. The shop bay and actual removal labor are not a problem at all because I am going to school for auto tech and have done a few removals before. The rebuild part is the only thing that I don't want to go through because I have heard it is a PITA. I guess I will lurk around a few places and try to find another Allison. He is wanting something cheap to get it running again but manual tranny is out of the question because of the people that will be driving it.
