Default Question about a 2/2 drop on a SSS

I have a friend that just put a 2/2 drop on his SSS. He was curious if he should buy a set of Cam Lock Plates for aligning the front end. Is this neccesary?

I don't believe that it will be necessary, I lowered my front end about 3" via keys and was still able to just get the alignment in. Did he use keys or spindles?

ok, thats what I thought. I lowered the front of my truck 4" and I don't have a chamber/caster kit, but mine is 2wd, and I haven't messed with the 4x4 stuff.

It was done with the "purple" keys, which works out to 2" of drop.

Thanks!
