Quest for TRACTION !!
#1
I've had enough of the lack of traction and wheel hop. taking some steps to help the problem. designed some new and improved traction bars (calracs). they should work a lot better. the stock 235/75 weren't cutting it anymore either. stepped up to a Toyo 275/60. i think this should help my 60' times a lot. in a couple months i will put the true trac and 4.10 in. 2 kids don't give much time.

Now get ready to watch your progression. i remember spinning one stock tire. Then new tires fixed it, mor mods and could spin the new tires. Then posi fixed it. then a stall converter,,,, still havent fixed this last onw dammit

good luck, i ran those same tires for a little while and all it did was wheelhop on me.
Just a fullbolt on truck with aftermarket eaton/4.10 gears.
Of course i didn't have any traction bars but at the same time your mod list looks extensive compared to mine so i would assume traction would be tougher for you to keep.

if you already have wheel hop, a stickier tire will probably not help the issue. the caltracs and tire combo should make a big improvement. should have tires and bars on by this weekend. i need to get to the track for some new times. the new mods might do in the old g80.
