#1
Trying to figure out what qa1 double adjustable shocks I need. Truck will be sitting 4/6 plus removed overload. I am relocating the rh shock behind the axle as well. 2001

No problem. I still get pm's regularly with guys asking me what part number QA1's to buy and my reply is always to get the mounts figured out and permanently installed. Then you can take measurements and order shocks that fit. Due to the mounts being custom, it's rarely the case that the same shock can always be used. If you, or anyone else for that matter, needs help getting the right shock after the mounts are finalized, shoot me a pm and I'll help you get the right **** ordered.
The set up from the link I posted above worked amazing for me. On the street I ran the truck without the front sway bar and was able to stiffen the front shocks up enough that it actually handled better than with the sway bar on stock suspension. I then had a front and rear shock setting for the track that worked killer too with 60's in the 1.5x range in a truck that weighed 4500+ lbs.
When my truck was in the final configuration in that thread it just flat worked and was amazing to drive and race. Certainly the most fun I ever had with it......with the exception of getting my 8 second slip and winning the ls truck shootout in 2014.
