Default Pump Fixxed back in action/pump pics included carnage

Well i just got back from the tranny shop. It was the pump that died into several parts that is. I gotta get Wheatley to lower my pressure when he tunes it this friday!!!
I wanna say it's at something insane like 105%.Anyway, i gotta go back tomorrow afternoon cause my rear driveshaft is off enough to cause vibration.
This was a problem before the pump went which started when i put a rollpan on the truck and changed all the blown shocks.
It ended up raiseing the front about a 1/4 and the back a almost a 1/2 with the weight gone and good shocks.
Anway he is gonna get some shims cause he didn't have any. Then shim the rearend tomorrow to lower it back in line with the carrier and such.
So come friday she will be at full strength for the tune!!!!!!!!!!
Here's the pics i took of the pump destruction.

TC as in torque convertor? It was fine no damage at all to it. Just needed a little flush and good to go.
The pump broke pretty good but no small particals at all. Just clean breaks. So he flushed it to be certain and put her back together.

Good to hear you are back on the road. You got luck with your pump, cause mine sent metal everywhere.
Im planning on heading to the track on sunday if you wanna go.

pics have been saved! UGH on the damage. I guess the noise came from the pump being in pieces.

Damn Im good

The reason Vince was asking about pics of the tc is because alot of times when the pump goes it will gouge grooves into the snout of the tc that engages the pump, you got DAMN lucky if it didnt mess it up, I would be willing to bet there was some damage but your tranny guy just sanded it smooth if it wasnt too bad.

Maybe so, he said it looked good though? I asked him about the convertor and he said no it was in perfect shape just did a little flush to be certain. But you never know.
Austin i'm gonna have the rearend shimmed tomorrow cause my back driveshaft it lined up to high giving me viration.
After that goin to Tx. Friday for a tune and plan on hitting the track sunday as well.
So i should see ya out there bro!!!

Good to see you're getting back on the streets. This week may be a good week after all.
