I'll give you a chuckle, my 5 speed is living behind my 4.8l just fine and with the Z06 cam and tune it's probably 330 FWHP. Next weekend I'm dropping in my new 6.0L. I will be the first guy on PT.net to have a NV3500 behind a 440 FWHP 6.0 LoL. I'll let you know how well it'll hold. I'm not afraid at all. As long as you don't rape the gears everytime you shift it should last a few years I would think. Although I'm also the only guy I know of who rand a 3 on the tree transmission behind my 500 HP 468 big block chevy. That lasted quite awhile for me as well. I only put a 4 speed in it for the fast shifting factor. A T56 is in my future though at some point for that very reason. I want the gas mileage and quick shifting abilities of the T56, I'm not afraid of the NV3500 taking a **** for any reason.

i'll soon be adding a nitrous plate system and probably spray 125 shot. it will making at least 400 rwhp, see how she likes that. i'm going to run it until it breaks, than swap in the t56.

I have put my 5spd threw a lot it has had a few bottles of 150 shot on it and stripped the spider gears out the rear end and now has a messed up 4.11 and true trac that is about 4 months old.

Wouldn't the 4500 have really short gears for towing?

don't think the nv4500 is as strong as a t56. its still a "truck transmission", hard to shift. not made for speed. if your going to do a swap, might as well go all the way.

Yea if I do any kind of swap, its going to be in the T56 direction. I hate the way the nv3500 shifts..
