Its not the silenoid You'll only run into trouble with that silenoid if you decrease line pressure throught the force motor table plus it will set the se light and you'll know it. Id bet money that the tables arent stock and its the tune. Find someone that has HPT and can read it if Nelso hasnt locked the pcm

It is never a good idea to toy with line pressure in the tables like that.

buy hp tuners

I had a local "professional" tuner try and lower my shift pressure by raising the force motor table cough...cough... jeff creech at CAM... cough. It burned up 2 shift silenoids and finally when I got hp tuners I figured it out and set the table back to stock then reduced the voltages slightly. If you want to soften the 1-2 with a shift kit do it in the 1-2 modifier table and the base pressure table. If your gonna adjust the force motor table you can go down in voltage but not up. If either of the shift silenoids is bad it will set an se light and youll loose gears depending on which one it is.

So there's a good chance the solenoid is ok? I need to have Nelson's re-check the tune?

Thanks,

Just to follow up on the topic I started...

I replaced the LPC solenoid with the factory replacement and I'm good to go. She's shifting as she should again..

Thanks to all the replies and especially to Allen from Nelson Performance..

Cheers
