Please help stumped on trany 4l60e 4x4
#1
Hey guys thanks for looking and or helping me out.
Problem I'm having is I had a rear main oil seal leak and I attempted to replace it. Pull the t-case and tranny and got here done. All good there.
When I went to install everything back minus the drive shafts becuase the truck is on a ramp.
I filled the t-case up and tranny with fluid.
Started the car and started up check for leaks nothing. Shifted the tranny and everything sounded good until I went into patk. Now I get a grind sound. Rev to park. Grinds for like 2-3 secs.
I looked it up and maybe the t-case is stuck in gear or that the engine is just free spining to much that it grinds becuase the drive shafts are not hooked up.
Need some advice before I have to tackle this problem and remove the t-case all over again. Tranny was fine before I pulled it out today.
It's on a 2000 GMC Yukon xl 5.3 4x4
