I can honestly say I measured mine and my shims raised the rear ever so slightly... but I didnt have 8* shims... yours may even be more noticeable Stew.

dang...i was hoping it would stay where it is. i know 8* is alot of shim but thats just how bad my dang angle is guess im getting a little of my rake back...or i could drop the shackle to 3" but then i might be fighting a pinion angle problem again.

or spend 20 bucks andget new perches and have them welded to specific angle you want instead of chancing the risk of the shims

theres no risk in these shims...i could weld the perches myself but im lazy like that haha. installing a shim is much easier

My rear end is jacked up since i did the 8 degree shims. I'd say it lifted my rear almost a half inch and is very noticable. Makes me wanna do a flip kit but i'm in your boat then i'll have angle problems again.
