Any recommendations for setting pinion angle with trac bars? I think the trac bars prevent the axle from rotating as much so perhaps less negative pinion angle is needed? Right now I'm running 6* shims, fat end forward which is giving me around -3* pinion angle.

 

Anyone?

 

well if you plan on setting it up for the track -3 to -4 pinion angle is what you want even if you have the traction bars

 

I thought one thing the trac bars do is prevent the axle from rotating which helps prevent your pinion angle from increasing when accelerating. Thus you don't need as much negative pinion angle when static.

 

Most traction bar still allow the pinion the rotate some. I would start at 4 and maybe go up to 6.
