i believe i'm going to go down to a 275/40 up front and keep the 285/50 in the rear maybe.....i'm not getting the tires until I can see for myself if i can't make the bigger tires work. Not saying that you guys are wrong but I think I can make them work.

And I don't think you could lose power from just the angle, however, I do believe it will cause vibration.

The angle will change, but most if not all new flip kit brackets should have the angle built into them. If not, or its an older style, you can get shims to get the angle were its suppose to be.
