Default Performabuilt or FLT

I want to start saving up for a new tranny since i will be probablly upgrading to a 2.8 pulley. Right now the tranny has 65K and shifts fine, but dont want to blow it up. I read FLT lvl7 and Performabuilt lvl3. FLT comes with a 6 month warranty and Performa comes with a 1 year without a converter and 2 years with a converter. Also for 950 or so after the warranty expires they go through it and renew the warranty. What do you guys think.

Wouldn't think of the $950 as being used for a "renewal"... It would be stupid IMO to remove and tear down a working tranny to "renew" it when there's nothing wrong with it. I believe that's intended for individuals who blow their Performabuilt after the warranty expires. As far as which one to choose, well there's only one option for me because I'm trying to build on a budget. Both appear to be quality companies with quality products from the feedback on this site, so I wouldn't be weary of either. I would go with whichever fits your needs the best.
