It's happened twice, now. I'll pull out into traffic with enough time to not make the guy that I'm pulling out in front of slow down if I floor it. Except that when I floor it, coming out of the turn, it lights up the inside tire, and I become a smoke-screen producing road block.
Since it happened twice, does that mean that I smoked the Posi's clutches the first time, and need new ones? Or does it mean I need stronger springs or something in the Posi?
Or does it mean that I have to change to a locker?
Thanks, Mike.

That just means you have a g80 probibly...Even my eaton one wheel peels if I am making a sharp turn. I think you have to have a true locker to get a true two wheel burn while turning but it is going to cause many more problems than you are going to fix.

A true locker (such as the detroit locker) physically locks during torque transients. This makes for some harsh/difficult turning as the inside wheel is being forced to turn at the same speed as they outside wheel.
A Eaton LSD might be a better option, better grip for launching and excellent drivibility. (or any other reputible LSD)

These g80's are weak and dont seem to like power greater than stock. I would definitley if budget allows get a detroit true trac, it has no clutches and it grips and performs tenfold over the g80 i had. My G80 broke and took out the pinion gear costing me about 900$ . Get a locker before it breaks and save yourself some time and money, or just baby the rear cuz it will break.

I was looking at the TrueTrac, but I read that the wheel with traction is given 5 times the torque of the spinner. So does it spin both wheels (fishtail) around corners?

Yes.
I have the same problem when i pull out and floor it, i just sit there and spin both tires now.
I dont know the actual mechanics of it, other than its a clutchless LSD but both wheels have some torque to the ground when hammered.
