Other than pulling it, how can I tell is I have a 3 or 4 grove pitman arm?

It is a 2001 silverado extended 1500 4X4 5.3 built in October of 2000.

Yea I know, buy both and return the one I don't use.

Don't have the credit left on the plastic or the cash to do that.

I think you just have to pull it. Supposedly the mid 05's up have the 4. You might be able to get a part # off the box (if you can see one) and check the dealer to see what one you have.

You might be able to tell if you pull the nut off. The splines may be visible from the bottom side.
