gears are touchy...i wouldnt want a bad install of my used gears get blamed on me when they explode...they also didnt seal right on the pinion seal for some reason. i went through 3 pinion seals and it would still throw gear lube all over the under side of my bed.

TBSS are shorter then the truck rear.
Some H2's had the 14 bolt too!!!
All H2s have them. 8 bolt like the 2500s and 1500HDs.

TBSS and SSR have their own bolt pattern. 6 on 5 or something.

Now get to working on tha housing of mine. Slacker. Hahaha.

That is correct. The automatics got a ten bolt with an aluminum pumpkin.

Wont need anymore junkyard parts. Have a posi diff, gears, brakes and housing. Will be having custom forged axles made.

What is your location? what was the temperature out side when this happened?

reason i ask is in the colder months you will see this a lot because people do not think to heat up their rear diffs.
