What made you choose a locker over an stronger Posi?

Are you keeping the 4:10's or are you making a change?

Well, my original thought process was to buy a truck capable of dealing with the added power without the horror stories of the 1500 series trucks, of course there are exceptions.
Mainly, the HD drivetrain/chassis. All has been good, except for the stock limited slips ability to be such a hunk of ****.
Why the locker, strength, that was the biggest factor for me. Now, had I been advised that the detroit locker was noisy at highway cruising, I would have chose the Eaton. But since its mainly a turning issue and I'm not exactly driving a road course racer, I went for strength over quiet.
I am keeping the 4.10's.

Motive Gear Instructions
You can read throgh these if you would like. They all pretty much say the same things. That one you had that was specific to the 10.5 was pretty good, but a little vague on some things. I think if you read through them all you will get a very good idea, then just pick which one you like best. If you have any problems you can always reference a different one.
