I guess im going to start saving up 700 bucks and get it done.. i would like 410s but i drive 60 miles hw a day average, sometimes more. so i think 373s would be better. the thing is i do not have the money to buy a new tranny anytime soon. so for now its going to be true duals then gears.. unless u guys have any other ideas.. i would appricate it.

my gears plus install was 550...thats motive gear 4.10s, install kit, and labor. i also put a detroit tru-trac in there while i was at it. don't you think that would suck to spend that much money for gear and install just to have your piece of **** g-80 take it out...plan on spending another 400+ for a good LSD

so im looking at 1grand for a whole rear end. locker and gears plus install.. wow. i hope that the tranny will hold up..bc that would be another 1800 or so for a flt. im guessing this isnt the best time in my life to be modding my truck since i am trying to save to move and go to school for hvac. so for now ill do cosmetics(no rims) sound system. maybe suspension?

as for performance i can do pulley, pp tb, headers.. and i cant think of anything else at the moment. what else is there? thanks.(somewhat affordable)

Go on Ebay and buy a used set of GM gears. It will be cheaper, easier to set up and you won't have to break them in.
