Default OEM gears, worth it?

I'm looking to upgrade to 4.11s and after researching the cost of OEM gears I am thinking twice about possibly trying a lesser, noisier brand. Has anyone cheaped out and regretted it? Or better yet, is there anywhere to score a deal on GM gears?

I bought mid grade gears by a company called liberty and they wine a little if I get the chance I'm gonna buy OEM 410 and do it over . Nothing like doing it twice but I should have coughed up a little more in the beginning and went OEM so yeah do it right the first time and get the OEM

Even though they have a disclaimer warning you the gears could potentially be noisy, the USA Standard gears from Ron's Machining Service provide many people with quiet reliable operation for a great price.

What he said ^^^
Def check out Rons Machining Service... best deal around! I ordered stuff through him cheaper than my shop could get the same parts for at their cost.

I ran the AAM gears in my truck and loved them. A bunch of guys run the yukon gears without problems. Don't skimp on the gears though IMO

The Yukons from Ron's are looking appealing. It would be nice to not pay $500 a set when you h ave to do the front AND rear.
