Default Odor after installing Vette Servo???

Ok,

I have an 08 5.3L 1500 2wd 4-Speed Silverado.
Had a tranny tech over at a Chevy dealer install a Vette Servo from Oregon Performance Transmission. The shifting seems to be tad bit firmer. But every time i step out of my truck, i smell something like burnt fluid, it's not strong, very faint and goes away after a few minutes. but it's been consistent after the servo install. i've only had it on for 6 days so far. Anyone experience this on a NNBS style truck or tips?

I'd check two things:

Check your tranny fluid and see if it smells burnt or looks burnt.

And I'm not sure if you have the 4l60e, but I know the servo is near the exhaust on the passenger side. As a matter of fact, you need to remove the heat shield to get to it.
And possibly during installation of the servo, some fluid may have gotten on the exhaust and it's simply burning off. But you can check that too. You can crawl under the truck and see if there's any fluid on the exhaust pipe near the hear sheild.
