OBS Silverado lowering question

Default OBS Silverado lowering question

OK I recently bought a 1995 silverado 2wd and it currently has a 3/4 drop on it. I want to make it a 5/8 drop so could I just buy 2" drop spindles and 4" drop leaf springs and be ok?? Of coarse I'll change shocks but opinions on if this will work ok. Side note the drop was on it when I bought it. Thanks in advance.

You will definately need to do a C-notch. The best course of action would be a flip kit and shackle or hanger to achieve your desired height. As far as the front, a 2" spindle would be the correct procedure.

The rear has a 2" hanger and 2" shackle already

So flip it with the lowing shackles and hangers??

Negative. Flip kit gives you about 6" so u will need to keep the hangers or shackles and take the other off to give you a total of 8".

Damn I was hoping I could get away with what I had. Not I've got to try and find stock hangers I guess.

Wait u said I could keep use stock shackles and keep lowering hangers. Because a buddy of mine has stock shackles.

Yeah...just adjust your pinion angle so find soem stock shackles and enjoy. Make sure your do a C notch.

Might as well do control arms bc at 5" drop its gonna be a pita the align it
