nv3500 questions

i'm running a 5.3 with mine just fine. the s-10 nv3500s are slightly different from their fullsize counterparts in that they have different gearing & tailshafts.
as far as interchangeability between the nv3500 & nv1500, i ain't sure, but just get a 4.8 flywheel & clutch setup & you're golden.
ps - stock-for-stock, the nv3500 can take more than a 4L60

you'll wanna use a new slave anyway, so just use the one with the v8 clutch kit. mine looked pretty much the same. i aslo heard you can use an f-body slave, but i never looked into it. go ahead & replace the pilot bearing, too.

I got a remote bleeder with the speed bleeder just cause it'll make life sooo much easier. For $50 it's worth it I think. The line is long enough I can probably route it up by the clutch master and be good to go.

just get a ls1 flywheel and pp. they can be had for nothing on tech. then buy the correct diameter 10 spline disc. i got my low milage ls1 flywheel and pp for basically what it cost to ship it.
