Default NP261 with a 4l80e

I am doing an 80e swap soon and cant find any information on what adapter I need to use the np261 on an 80e. I am hoping the adapter from the 60e works on the 80e but I kind of doubt it. I can find adapters for the 80e to np241 but I dont know if the np241 and np261 have the same mounting style....

does anyone know?

I called the guy at pbtrans yesterday since he seems to be extremely knowledgeable and he is confident the bolt pattern for the np241 is the same as the 261. I can find adapters for the 4l80e to an np241 all day so that solves that issue. Now I'm just having fun with the pictures :p

Gotcha. I made the mistake of buying a spare NP246 for my 4L80e swap from a 2002 Tahoe. Encoder shafts totally different to work with my 2003 harness. I had it totally rebuilt, aluminum rear half, 32 spline input, etc. Didn't realize my mistake until I went to plug the encoder in...oops.

I have a NP241 w/60k original miles from a 1993 2500 with the shifter, front shaft, etc and probably should have gone this route from the get go.
