Default no second gear?

before my 6.0 swap Im 99% sure 2nd gear was there lol, anyways figured out this is alot of my trouble why the truck is acting weird, come on to the gas and it will rev to about 5000 rpm then shift into 3rd when I let of the throttle, what could cause 2nd gear to disappear? any simple fixes?

The night i installed my 5.3 from my 4.3 I lost 2-overdrive because of burnt bands and a lead foot. Is your ecm tuned for a 4l60e? alot of 6.0 and their computers out of 3/4 tons use 4l80e which is totally different. just a thought.

thats the thing, I thought maybe a 2nd gear band, but the band is used for 4th too and I still have 4th, unless i did brake the band and the clutches in 4th are still holding enough to have 4th, which in that case 4th wont last to long. lol I know Im looking at the flt level 4
