no lock-up
#1
Hello, i recently tuned a truck and i cant get the lock-up to work. 04 Silverado and we did a 6.2 and 4l80e swap to it. First we just swapped in the 6.2 and everything worked great. Later swapped the 4l80e to it and lock-up hasnt worked since then. I can get it to lock but only if i manually engage it in the scanner. I left all the stock values for tcc in the pcm from what the 4l80e segment had, just increased tcc duty cycle. I will attach the tune. Still needs some work but i would like to fix this first.

You need to change the settings under the Minimum Throttle Release table, try this: max out Low and High Speed VSS to 256 and zero out the 4 TPS settings.
This is how my tune is set up and the converter locks up when commanded every time, and stays locked at 0% throttle too.

Ok, i will try that. But still shouldn't it lock with those values? Those are the stock values and i just looked at my tune and it is set at the same values as this tune. Mine works flawlessly.

Not too sure, but I was having problems with inconsistent/no lock-up with the stock settings in that table and searched hpt forums and found those settings so I gave them a shot and it worked.

Got some updates. I still got no lock up and i checked and i have a dtc: P2761. Anyone has any ideas to try? Like i mentioned before i can lock it up with HPT scanner but it doesnt lock by itself. Any ideas?

According to google that code is for the Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Circuit. So possibly something wrong in the wiring harness or a bad solenoid.
Might be a good idea to check the wiring for a bad ground fist?
