NNBS Suspension drop ???'s for best performance
#1
I said I wouldn't do it, but I have decided to drop my truck more. I am thinking of going a mild drop, probably 3/5 or 3/6 tops. Right now I am just running 2" drop shackles, removed 1" lift block and spring clamps in the rear and that has it pretty much leveled out. Wanting to go to a smaller-performance based tire, like a Toyo Proxes ST 275-60-17.
Anyways, for the 07-up NNBS there are several options to look at. Some of the kits offer Spindles for the front--(some with coils) and others offer upper & lower control arms. For the rear, some kits offer flip kits and others use drop shackles and rear leaf springs. I will probably not be drag racing much in this truck, but still want it to perform to the best of its ability, additional performance mods are in the works.
What is the best option? I am thinking Front Spindles and rear leafs, but honestly I don't know. I am pretty green as far as dropped suspensions, the most I have ever done was drop shackles and 1" front coils. I would like the ride to be as good as possible.
