NNBS max tire height ??
#1
Hello guys
Just picked up a 2012 GMC RCSB NNBS 4x4 with the 4.8.
Looking to drop it a little....like in the 3"/ 5" range and planning on 22x9's (8 spoke denali).
Here's the question, with a 3/5 drop what is the most tire I can run (I don't mind a little inner fender massaging) ??
From all the threads I have been reading, it seems the 295-40 is getting close to max with the turning rub issues ???
The look I'm after is a full wheel well (overall height) and max width on the pavement.
Thinking a 295-40/22 would look killer but is 31.3" height going to look like a short with such a small drop ??
There are several trucks that look awesome on here...but hard to find tire sizes and how much drop their running in random pics.
Any links to threads that would help me I would appreciate.
Thanks....

Forgot to mention....the 285-45/22 fills the height of the wheel well nicely being 32.1" tall. But the 285's begin to look a little narrow with that kind of sidewall.
I'm going to guess and say anything wider (295 or 305) with a 32" height is going to cause rubbing issues when the wheels are turned lock to lock ??
