Default Nitto Terra Grappler's

Going to get some new tires this weekend, thinking about the Nitto Terra Grappler AT 285/75/16. Anyone running these tires?

I have them and I love them. My next set will be the same. So far I have put about 18,000 miles on them and they still look great. They handle really well in the rain and when it is dry they stick to the road like glue. They are also pretty quiet, but now I can't hear them at all due to my exhaust.

I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for a good all-terrain tire. In my eyes they are far better than the BFG A/T.

I have a set. Only have about 2000 miles on them but like them so far. Very quiet. Had a set of Wrangler GS-As before. 100x times better then those.

Sent you a PM. I have a question about your body lift and tires. Didn't want to steal the thread...

Thumbs up Me Too

I have ha a set of 305-70r-16's on my 99 OBS Z71 and Love them. The wear well and have 30,000 miles on them with little wear. Good traction at the Dove lease and quiet like said above. Just keep rotating them regular and they will last forever...JohnB

I have that same size. What size tire are you going from?

These are very heavy tires compared to my old stockers (265 Firestones). I could definatly feel the weight difference and lost some mpg as a result too.

Other than that, they are great tires. Awesome in the snow, but I don't see you having that problem.

I got a chance to try mine in a few inches of slush and snow last year right after I got them and was very pleased with how they responded. Even with now extra weight in the bed they stuck to the ground well.

I didn't need any extra weight this winter at all, and it gripped great.
