newb, looking for stock height ideas

Hey all, u got some sweet trucks. I got a ecsb and my shocks r wore out (original) 60,000 miles. The truck actually handles really good for a truck (u can trail-brake effectively, steer with the throttle, & turn in is great compared to almost (any) old school vehicle. I deal with winter (deep snow and big *** potholes in the spring) and down the line when i get more paid off on my truck i want a musky boat. That may be too heavy for a 1500 but it wont stop me (also what would recomend for a trq/verter under these conditions. Ive seen lowered vehicles towing with their *** end lower than their front and this would be UNACEPTBLE to me. Unless hotchkiss 2/4 can deliver im thinking hotchkiss sway bars, poly mounts, and ias shocks. I dont think airbags would work because of their price and I deal with below freezing temps and even under zero temperature. Do u have any suggestions? Btw this site rocks.

hotchkis is the way to go... 2/4 drop sounds good for your application. Make it nice and even.... as far as shocks go bellstiens(sp?) are good.. if your bored and want to browse.. check out some of the sponsers to the right of ur screen>>>

Your *** End Is Gonna Sag With Stock Suspension Too..... Running A 2/4 W/ Spindles And Shackle And Hangers In Rear Will Keep All Same Ride And Suspension Geometry It'll Just Be Lower. I Would Say Go Ahead And Do It!!

I had a 2/4 drop on my old truck('97) and didn't have any problems hualing a bed full of dirt or towing a 5,000lbs+ trailer with a refrigerator and washing machine in the bed when I moved.
As long as you keep all your springs you'll be fine.

Hey thanx for the advice. When ever i get extra money it usually goes to the truck payment. Im thiking of the drop for summer tho. I know most people are drag guys but what kind of lateral gains are people seeing on the g-techs from dropping their trucks. Btw I live close to lake nokomis.
