2wd has coil springs up front unless it's an SS...

OH OK. i test drove the 4x4 and it had torsions

Is that an '07 thing? I've seen 2wd's with torsion bars that weren't SS's.

Hmmm, that's news to me. I believe that VHO's have the same set up as the SS's also. The only 2wd's that I've seen with torsions are SS's and VHO's...maybe HD's, 2500's, 3500's, etc. have torsions? I'm not really sure, but now I'm real curious to know

I think that you have it. The SS, VHO, 1500HD, 2500 and 3500 have torsion bar front suspension along with the 4X4s.

I was looking around at a dealer when the 05's came out. They had a 2wd 1/2 ton 5.3 truck with TB's up front. I want to say it had the Z85 suspension but I can't remember for sure now.

if it's 2wd you'll have spring in the front ? not torsion bars . check out air ride technology's they have some pretty cool **** for trucks
