Default new shocks and/or traction bars?

sup guys. i've decided my next mod is going to be a suspension one. with my set up i can't get traction for **** on the street and on the track my rear of the truck is bouncing on the launch and loosing momentum. it's lowered 2/4 with shackles and hangers in the back. i've been studying my launch on the video: my truck squats, hit's the bump stops, comes back up, then finnally squats back down. that the best way i can put it.

i was thinking about doing spring clamps since they are cheap, but i don't have any wheel hop and i don't want to lower the rear anymore than it is.
i need yall suggestions on a good street/strip shock and/or traction bars, or something yall know that can help. thanks fellas... lance

caltracs wont really help until you have stickey tires. I imagine that adjustable shocks will only make you hit the bump stops harder. Slapper bars will stop wheel hop and axle wrap but not much else. I vote tires.

i'm more concerned about traction at the track than on the street but i'd like to take advantage of both. at the track i run MT street et's 26x11.5x16 on stock alloy wheels.
at the track i was spinning b/c the track wasn't preped. this was the first time running it with my new set up: cam, tune, and stall. but anyway's i'm just trying to control the launch at the track to get better 60' and et's. do yall think a c-notch would help any? sometimes it get's agrivated on the street hitting the bump stops...

Oh yeah I think a c-notch will definetly help! On the NBS truck anything with a 4" drop a notch is really recommended! On a other chevy forum I posted a similiar question and got plenty of responses to get a notch for better suspension travel!

I got a buddy with spring clamps on his 02 truck and it rides pretty rough! He was also thinking about a notch!
