Default New leaf springs Please Help!!!!

Well i feel like a idiot right now. I have a 99 Silverado 2wd 5.3 lowered with a ground force 1.3 x 3" 9937 RST suspension. My original leaf springs were shot and i ordered new leafs well come to find out it lifted my truck! The original leaf part#15033928 New leaf part#15246972. The new part number said it was compatible. i pulled the bed back off and went up to the last hole on my lowering shackles. But it still could use another inch of drop. Anyways my question is, can i get some drop shackles with 3 holes without it running into the bed? I do not want to remove the leafs again it was a major PITA.. nor do i want to remove the over load leafs. Please Help!!

If theyre the mono leafs most of the 99s came with, the old ones were probably bent and worn out, i know when i took mine off to swap the 2500 springs into it the oe leafs were bowed up in the middle and both torsion bars were actually bent slightly....

Ignore the alignment of the bed to cab its temp bolted down til i figure out what im going to do. But you can tell it needs another inch.

That's a bummer, those drop hangers only have 1 hole.

I had 2in drop on my hangers (2 holes) with 2 holes on the shackle to get a 4in rear drop.

Removing the overload spring or getting different hangers is kind of the only option. I don't think anyone makes 3in drop shackles and you'd likely hit the bed.

So I'm guessing my hangers are 1 inch drop and my shackles are 2 to make 3 overall and thats why I have shims between the axle and leaf to correct pinion angle. I guess I wouldn't mind changing my hangers to hangers that have two holes I never plan to go any lower. I guess having bigger arched leafs won't effect the handling much?

It will settle over time... Riding around with a load in the bed for a while, may help break the springs in some, but i think the truck looks good way it sits, fwiw!!

I used DJM parts for my rear drop, they worked. You can search the forum for other parts too, don't allows think we need to reply.

Couple big *** sand bags or some dead hookers should be enough weight, couple hundred pounds should be alright.
