Default need transgo shiftkit help asap

i'm in the middle of insalling the hd2 kit and i think i'm missing some springs that shouldve came w/ the kit. there is a purple spring that is supposed to go into the valve body. it says to install the tight wound purple spring. the only tight wound purple spring i have is so tightly wound that it had no compression what so ever. you cant squeeze it because the coils are already pressed against eachother. this cant be right, can it. second, i installed a vette servo also and the number on it is not any of the numbers that i'm supposed to circle so i'm assuming its "other". so when i'm trying to install the acumm bushing and valve i'm supposed to put in the white spring w/ a mid tight coil. i have no white w/ a mid tight coil. only the red one. would it hurt anything if i installed the red instead of the white spring? transgos not answering their phones today i need to get this put in before 3 today. any help would greatly be appreciated.

The purple spring is correct. It is used to keep that valve from stroking. Install it!!! As for the 1-2 accumulator valve spring. I have found that the spring and the directions do not match all of the time because I believe vendors for the product change. There should be a white spring that is close to the red one. I personally feel that the red spring is a better choice and use it all the time. Either way you will be fine. Your vet servo is probably an aftermarket one that is why the #'s don't match. Good luck with the install. Vince aka trans go tech support!

Make sure that the boost valve you received is the same length as the one that was in your trans to start with. In 05 and later, there is a possibility that you will require a shorter boost valve.
