Thank you everybody for all the help I've recieved in the past my truck is running marvelous; anyway I have a 2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT I would like to rebuild my transmission, I've search so much info on this site I can't come to a solid solution I know from what I've read is to definetly go with gm 5 gear planetary front and rear, beast reaction sun shell, corvette servo, sonnax tcc valve my tune already has firm shift so I dont know if I would add a shift kit.. I would like a list of clutches etc.....if anybody can give me a great list I would definetly be well appreciated and put to good use; I got my pcm tuned from w4m performance , i have a corsa exhaust, 05 cooling fan setup, cold air intake setup, tb bypass after my tranny I would definetly look into a supercharger or turbo but I would definetly like to do the tranny soon thank you again

i found out i have a 4l65e if anybody can help please with upgrades to my transmission

 

you need to just order a tranny from FLT. That way you have almost no down time, and their stuff is built. Get the level 4 or 5 and that will save you a ton of time peicing parts together and messing with someone rebuilding the stock unit.

 

well I am a tech for a cadillac dealership and down time wouldnt be a problem I can rebuild myself which i did numerous amount from hummers to escalades just was looking for a great list for personal use on my vehicle thank you so much

 

the 4l65e's have a 5 pinion planetary stock i do believe

i'd run alto or raybestos z pack clutches

Sounds like you wanna do it yourself, but if it were me...

Rossler just refreshed my Denali's tranny...I am impressed. Carl Rossler told me what he would do for the refresh and suffice to say he made his own upgraded transmission even more bullet proof. The custom work he does is beyond anything I've seen listed for a transmission upgrade.
It might be worth a phone call to him...he might change your mind.
