im lowered 4/6.5 and still have my stock shocks upfront, monroe 37078s in the rear, but when i first lowered to 2/5, i removed bumpstops, and was still on stock shocks and rode extremely well

my stock shocks were blown out at 15k. I am running KYB's now and couldn't be happier.

The Belltech shocks are twin-tube design. Not ideal for nice ride and good control at the same time. A good quality mono-tube design shock will work much better.

There aren't too many brands that I know of that offer monotube shocks for lowered trucks. I run KYB Monomax shocks and swear by them. KYB Gas-A-Just shocks are also monotube design. I believe the Edelbrock shocks are also monotube. I have a friend with those on his truck, it rides nice also, and he swears by them.

Maybe swithch your 2" springs for some 2" spindles/factory springs..and the monotube shocks as mentioned above..

I believe since your 4wd this is right with a torsion front end, not the case with a 2wd front end...

Ive got belltechs drop 2s and they arent the greatest either. but like mentioned before ive just came to the conclusion you either get comfort or performance, kind of hard to get best of both worlds.. my truck does handle great tho for whats done to it imo, but the ride sacrifices for it..

well can some one add a link for a truck that is stock but in the future can do a 1/3 and leave the same shocks thanks.some shocks say gas charged do i have to do something to them before installing thanks for the fed back
