Default Need help with wheel backspacing.

I'm looking at buying a set of Bogarts. I want to run a 16x6 on the front and a 16x9.5 on the rear.
The front tire will be a 225/70/16
The rear will be the Mickey Thompson drag radial 295/50/16
(measuring rim-9.5, Sidewall width-12.1, tread width-10.8, overal diameter 27.7)

This will be an everyday setup, so I need to know what backspacing for the front and rear so the wheels/tires are not sticking out past the fender, nor do I want them so far under the truck it looks like **** either.

I'm guessing 4 inches of backspacing on the front and 6.5 on the rear???

I am running 20x8s with 5" backspacing and it puts them just inside the wheelwell. The rear should be fine at 6.5" backspacing. For the front, 3" will put it at the same location as the rear, of course a little more will move it inward.

Here is about the closest pic I have looking down the side of my truck. Tires on the pic are 275/35/20s, I think 27.7" tall too.

Edit: On second thought, with the 275s at a 6" rear drop I did have a little rub on the rear bedsides with some weight in the bed, or on a hard turn. I am currently running 245s and don't rub at all. I don't remember your truck being as low as mine, 2/4 right? So you shouldn't have any problems. But if you ever plan to be 6" in the back, you may want to go with a little more than 6.5" backspacing.

A 6.5" BS will be just right for a 9.5" wheel. My 18x9.5 have a 6" BS and are right at the edge with the 295 and are a hair past with the 305 DRs. The 18x8" I have on front have a 5" BS and they are just a touch inboard. So with that said, I would say 6.5 out back and 3 up front will put them both just a bit in side the fenders. Just be sure the rears are going to clear the brake lines on the calipers.

with a stock 16x7 alloy wheel (+31mm offset / 5.2" backspacing) there's around 1" between the wheel and the banjo bolt.
