The brackets are not OEM, they are marketed by companies who make drops (i.e. DJM, Belltech, McGaughys). Using the brackets does not change the angle of shock mounting so much as it adds another 2"-3" of length to the stock bracket. I would venture they change the mounting angle maybe 5-7 degrees at most.

OK guys, I have finished everything up for the most part today. So I will post some pics up a little later.

I had to fab up some of the actuator brackets, since I broke both of them when I was trying to bend them to the appropriate angle. They turned out good though.

I will also need to to some adjusting on the torsion bars to get it to sit a little better and also get an alignment, but its no big deal.

I am going to change out the rear springs in the near future with the Eibachs, since the Mcgaughy's springs are not really safe IMO, plus they are way too bouncy.

The front rides great with the McGauhy spindles and some new Bilstien shocks though.

BTW, thanks for the help Naked AV....

Here are some crappy pics, but they are good enough for now.

After my measurements it dropped about 2in. up front and a little over 3in. in the back.

And yes it is dirty as hell....

looks good bro! like the stance

I'm surprised there is no spring clamp, at least on one end, but hey, I'm no engineer, glad to see this is all wrapped up, for now at least

Be aware that if you go with the Eibachs on the back, you will lose between .5" and .75" of your drop (it will be higher by one half to three quarters of an inch).

I have an 04 yukon 4wd sle with the ZW7 self leveling but no autoride and my left front shock is worn out and need to be replaced. Do i have to go with GM here cause of the ZW7 or can I go aftermarket? Is the self leveling just in the rear?
