Default Need help finding braided brake lines.

Truck is 2004 GMC Sierra 4wd 1500 5.3. Everywhere I look only has line for the 2wd. Is there anyone that makes them for a 4wd or does the 2wd ones work? They just need to be stock length.

Goodridge has them, but I believe Earls, Hyperfirm, ect. all have them. One thing I’ve noticed and don’t know what to tell you is it seems hit or miss as to whether or not the fittings on the rear lines that attach to the calipers will fit your particular vehicle. There were just too many changes throughout the years and the companies seemed to just assume that say ’99 to whatever year was the same and their not. Maybe some other members have had good luck with a particular brand that fits your year and model of vehicle. The Goodridge lines fit mine perfectly, but I’ve seen others have issues with fitment of the rear lines. Also, I'm sure the 2WD kits would work just fine depending on the ride height of your truck. If it is stock ride height or lower they should be fine as they use the same calipers as a 2WD except some crew cab’s, SS trucks, Denali’s and so on that had dual piston rear calipers.

Check stylin concepts they have some russell brake lines for stock and a 4-6 inch lift that should cover you. looks like around $175 for a set

I got mine from Summit a few years ago, they're Russell IIRC, and they were listed as 4wd lines.
