Question need help with brake pulsing

i just got an '05 1500 crew with drum brakes in the rear. well i put on some 20x8.5's with 275/55/20 tires and now the brakes pulsate whenever you apply them. it is pretty aggravating because it is real jerky to a stop. has anyone else had this problem?

Did this happen when you installed the wheels, or did you just notice it when you installed the wheels? Warped rotors are a common problem, expecially when larger/heavier wheels and tires are installed, more so if you are heavy on the brake pedal. The simple fix for warped rotors is to have them resurfaced. I admit I am a little heavy on the brake pedal sometimes, and have had warped rotors. The only downside to resurfacing the rotors is it will take less to warp the rotors evertime you remove some material from them.

One thing to check anyways.

It depends on it the pulse is a function or tire RPM or if it's the ABS kicking in. If you're not sure which is which then pull the ABS fuse and test drive it. If it's ABS it's tuning most likely, if it's something else then you might have warpage.
Did they test drive your truck at the tire shop? I hate to even ask this...
