Default Need help with brake line swap

Thought I would save some money by putting on my russel SS lines myself. Anybody have any tips on installing them? Do I remove them and plug the line with something till I get the new one mounted?

keep the line open no longer than needed. when the line is open , cap the line with the rubber boots that come on the caliper bleeder nipple . Don't let the master cylinder go dry. makes bleeding harder. When everything is sealed up. take the fluid cap off and let the bleeders loose "gravity bleed" When you get a steady stream, bleed as normal. RR, LR, RF, LF.

Post up how they feel when your done.

Before you start removeing any of the lines wedge a long prybar or something similar between your seat and the brake pedal. You don't have to put a ton of pressure against the pedal, just enuff to hold it down. This will close the valve and keep any brake fluid from leaking out of the master clyinder. The only fluid that will leak out is whats in the line your working on. Just to let you know if you were to open the bleeder first for some reason after doing this open it slow because it will have some pressure behind it and squirt out the brake fluid.
