don't go with 275/60's, i can tell you that right now...i've got em and my truck might be able to work with a 3/6 until these tires hit the 30K mile mark and are replaced with 275/45's or 275/50's.

I run 275/50/17 Nittos and had no problems on 4.5-7 drop. There's lots of people running these tires down here now and they look real nice. Just lowered my truck some more last night to about 5.5 or 6" in front and tires are flushed with fender (no more gap)....and no problems with rubbing. Tire's a 27.8" tall (28") and truck measures 27" from floor to fender lip.

255/60/17 is what I am thinking.......(I can get this size cheap from a local tire wholesaler)? Cuerva said 275/50/17 but it sounds like you had a gap from fender to wheel...

there's a couple pics of 275/60's...i'm not sure what stock wheel BS is, but i've got 5.5" and they sit really close to the outer edge of the fenders might wanna do a 50/55 i know i am next spring when these are shot.

In the pics truck has a 2/4 on it...

old thread but this is what i was gonna ask anyway, 265/70/17s on a 2/4. will it rub? this thread is about a 4/6, im just gonna do a 2/4. from what ive read everybody does a 30" tire on 4/6drops, so in theory i should be 2" higer with 1.5" taller tire, will i clear for no rub? stock esky wheels are 31mm backspace i believe. opinions..?
