Default Need another inch lower from my 2/4, rear that is..

The 2/4 just isn't cutting it, big shock. I know the front end will have to stay at 2" until next year, then I will either switch the coils to a 3" or get some 2" spindles.

BUT my deal right now is with the back end. I used shackles and hangers for a 4" drop. Is there any way to get another inch out of this combo? I actually think I may be happy with a 3/5ish drop. The deal here is, I don't want to spend alot of money no matter what I have to do... since I am into this for a decent amount of cash as it sits.

Let me know, thanks.

If you dont tow or haul heavy loads you could pull the flat overload leaves out and that should get you another inch or so lower. In performance applications I have heard this can cause axle wrap issues however, so not sure if it would be a good idea for your particular setup or not. But it is free

For what it is worth, I will have the u-bolts and spring packs undone to put my pinion shims in this weekend. I am assuming that would be a good time to pull that leaf out?

Also, my pinion is pointed upwards. Which way should the shim be placed to bring the pinion down? Fat part of the shim forward or back?

Fat end forward to point the pinion down.

That's for trucks with a flip kit, axle above the springs.

Just hold the the leaves together with a c-clamp while you pull the tie bolt out. An air impact is the easiest way to zip the nut off but you run the risk of damaging the threads. If you do it right you can just reuse the tie bolts or you can buy new ones at a local parts store for maybe 3-4 bucks each.
