Default my truck is uneven?

i was lookin at my truck today as it was getting washed... and seems the driver side is lower than the pass.
so i got it home, straightened the wheel on a level surface.... and it seems the driver side is about 1/2 inch lower than the pass side.
i only have 27k on the truck.. it's never been hit.....
what gives?

Do you have coil springs or torsion bars in the front?

This is very common on these trucks. I had the same thing on my truck. There is a technical bulletin out on this. What chevy does is sell you a small spacer for the driver side rear leafspring and some new u-bolts and this corrects the problem. I did this to my truck and its pretty close to level.

If you are coil in the back, you have the most unique truck on here. Or...you modified it.... You should have leafsprings in the back. Only chevy and gmc SUV's have rear coil spring setups.... take a photo and post it if it really is coil springs cause I would like to see it!

Chevy in all of their infinite wisdom decided to put the gas tank on the same side as the driver.......
