Moog Bushing Fail, I thought Moog was supposed to be top of the line stuff?
#1
About 6 months ago I replaced the front sway bar and link bushings on the Suburban, my wife drives it 99.8% of the time and is a very conservative driver. Sunday is the only day that I drive it and noticed that the handling has gotten worse every time I drove it, recently my wife even complained that it wanders and sways and is difficult to keep in a straight line.
So here is what I noticed when we got home from Church yesterday....sway bar bushings are falling apart and the link bushings were almost rotted away to nothing. These are about 6 months old! The Energy Suspension bushings have been on my Avalanche for two years and still look new even though I drive like I'm on a autocross course full time!

This has nothing to do with Moog but I found the source of the drive line vibration on the highway (more like a humming noise) Here is what a 220K transmission mount looks like.
