Mcgaughy's helper bag kit?
#1
well my kit finally came in and I got to thinking. which would be the best way to mount it?? in the front or the rear? I didn't buy it for the towing, just the ride quality and to hopefully help with wheel hop.
If I install it in the front shouldn't that cure my wheel hop?? or should I put it in the rear?? I want to help the ride most of all, I can get traction bars for the wheel hop but was wanting to kill two birds with one stone

no I have the DJM flip kit with c-notch, just by looks at it everything should like up, if not I work at a shop when I can make new plates and brackets if need be. just trying to decide where to mount everything before I tear my truck apart

Where did you mount the filler fitting to put air in the bags at? I'm thinking maybe inside by the gas cap but not sure. I dont want to put it by the tag like I've saw done. Want it hidden

I currently have mine like Jvoisel stated, in the rear. No welding or anything either, as I purchased a mcgaughys notch, which means the helpers come with a bracket to bolt right up, and I also ran my line to the gas tank. Much easier, and it's hidden.

well, as my luck always goes, the bolt holes for the C-notch and the bag bracket do not line up.not even close, so I have to drill new holes on the bag bracket. no big deal but it set me back from installing it today.
