Default McGaugheys lowering leafs

has anyone used these on a Z71 ecsb 4wd. Looking to lower the rear a little more and want some options. Trying to get an idea of ride quality and don't want to waste my money if people weren't satisfied.

The general consensus for drop is a rear flip kit depending on how low you wanna go. From what I have read the mcgaugheys springs give a choppy ride.

Im doin a 3/5 on mine with spindles coil relocators and a flip kit I'll post up how it rides when Im done with it.

I have dropped spindles and the rear has shackles and the blocks removed. I just want to get another inch or two in the back. Thanks for the replies so far, just found this site recently and really like it.

I have the same setup, but I also removed the overload leaf for that last extra little bit. I added CalTracs to counter spring wrap. It works well for me.

To go lower, I would recommend a flip kit, put the stock shackles back on, and notch the frame. I've heard alot of reports that the drop leaves ride harsh and don't launch well.

Having it on my truck no issues, only drawback ride was ABIT stiffer over stock. 4" leafs on a 4x4 7z1 that is.
