Default Max Speed -RPM

Was wondering if any one knew of a chart, that shows what the factory settings is for trucks, maximum speed/Rpm for each gear for different diff ratio. Ive checked my GM Shop Manual and Owners Manual and I can find them.

The reason why Im asking is I was playing around with the hypertech this morning, changing shift points, but all it shows is +/- 1MPH, Ive calucated it out where I would like each gear to shift, but need a baseline for each gear so I know how many MPH to add.

Any info would be appreciated.

here is a link to a calculator that should work for what you need, plug in your gear ratio, trans and tire size and it will tell you what rpm you'll be at and what mph. Nice truck btw, I really like those denali wheels

Thanks

Thats what I have already done, I have figured it for each gear. But what I need to know is what GM sets the shift points at in MPH for WOT for each shift. Thats why I know how many MPH I need to add. The Hypertech does not show an actual MPH you can only add or minus the MPH in 1MPH increments.

If That make sense

ahh I see, sorry didn't think of that. I'd just make a few stock WOT runs and see where the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts are at and go from there.

jsut put in 1-2 +4 and 2-3 +10 leave 3-4 at 0 with a max speed at 128 that will let you shift from 1-2 at 6100 and 2-3 at 6000 shift firmness on. I put these setting on my neighbors 04 ecsb 5.3 and he ran a 15.10 at 92 mph in 45 degree weather.
